During July 25^th – July 28^th the Virginia Diamonds participated in the USJN/Nike National Championships held in Washington, DC and Maryland.  The girls finished second in their pool defeating PSPA Elite, Loudoun Freedom, the Michigan Monarchs and the NY Long Island Lightning .  In the first round of the play-offs the girls defeated PSPA-Select but fell short against the Connecticut Premier in the semi-finals.  Out of 18 teams from across the country the Virginia Diamonds finished in 3^rd place.  Congratulations Diamonds!!!

Indeya Sanders (#23) and Aisha Sheppard (#6) were selected for the USJN All-Star team voted by competing coaches.  Congratulations Ladies!!!
